Ash Wednesday
Lent begins a week on Wednesday, 1st March.
Mass and the distribution of ashes will be celebrated at 10am and 7.30pm.
A leaflet with more information of Services and meetings during the season will be available next week.
Growing in faith during Lent
Our GROWING IN FAITH groups will begin during this Lent.
I suggest that each group meet twice during the season:
- GROWING IN THE WORD: Thursday 2nd & 23rd March
- GROWING IN THE EUCHARIST: Tuesday 14th March & 4th April
- GROWING IN MISSION: Thursday 9th & 30th March.
The core members of the groups are our Readers for Growing in the Word; our Eucharistic Ministers for Growing in the Eucharist and the members of the St Vincent de Paul Conference for Growing in Mission.
Every parishioner is welcome to any of the groups and I hope many of you will come along and experience what will be on offer. Meetings from 7-8pm.
