Each year we publish the Safeguarding Policy of the Catholic Church in Scotland which is as follows:
The Catholic Church in Scotland, the Bishops and the Congregational Leaders are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk. The Church recognises the personal
- dignity and rights of all who are vulnerable towards whom it has a special responsibility.
- The Church and individuals of it undertake to take all reasonable steps to maintain a safe
- environment for all and to respond sensitively and compassionately to the needs of the Church communities in order to help keep them safe from harm.
