Camino Day 5 Nájera to Santo Domingo de la Calzada. Today, Feast of St. Thérése of Lisieux, we tramped in the footsteps of Francis of Assisi and visited the crypt of Santo Domingo. All three are loved for their humility and simplicity of faith in action. S. Domingo de la Calzada was illiterate and rejected by the Monastery but built the roads, bridge, hospital and church for pilgrims as well as performing many miracles.
